Job summary

Western New York Arena LLC seeks a certified Chief Engineer to operate, maintain and repair the interior and exterior mechanical and electrical systems at KeyBank Center, LECOM Harbor Center and 79 Perry St. The role requires a valid Chief Stationary Engineer License and 5 years in centrifugal chiller environments, with strong HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational electrical school diploma is required.
• Valid Chief Stationary Engineer License issued by the City of Buffalo, NY is required.
• Five (5) years working as a stationary engineer with centrifugal chiller experience is required.
• Thorough knowledge of operation, repair and maintenance of low-pressure boilers, pumps, HVAC and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical systems and equipment across facilities.
• Serve as Chief Engineer of record and display license per City of Buffalo Charter.
• Schedule, manage, and train stationary engineers (full-time and part-time).
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems of the physical plant.
• Comply with codes and NHL regulations and coordinate with supervisors.
