Job summary

The Florida Panthers and Amerant Bank Arena are seeking a dynamic Event Manager, Event Services, to lead the planning and execution of arena events, including hockey games, concerts, and family shows.

You will work with multiple departments to coordinate production, safety, and guest experience, while building schedules, cost estimates, and venue maps. This on-site role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of event management or venue operations experience.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and be on-call to build shows when not at the facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships between Amerant Bank Arena, the Florida Panthers, War Memorial Auditorium, clients, promoters, partners, and vendors.
• Develop and build events from production notes and other communications.
• Disseminate event information to departments through meetings and walkthroughs.
• Create outlines detailing all event setup needs, including access, security, and run times.
• Assemble show costs for billing and settlement in advance of events.
• Schedule rigging and labor for load‑in, performances, and breakdown.
• Develop and implement standard operating policies and procedures.
• Create on-sale and facility maps using AutoCAD with relevant information.
• Participate in regular department meetings to communicate information to staff.
• Build high team morale and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure facility safety, readiness, and client satisfaction while safeguarding interests.
• Participate in production walkthroughs and meetings for future events.
• Provide event estimates for potential and confirmed events.
• Conduct inspections of arena areas to ensure proper setup and patron safety.
• Notify leadership of needed equipment repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with Guest Experience on addressing guest concerns.
• Coordinate with Box Office on house scaling, production kills, and show builds.
• Act as Manager on Duty when senior executives aren’t present.
• Demonstrate strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
