Job summary

The Florida Panthers Hockey Club is seeking an experienced Event Manager for Amerant Bank Arena and War Memorial Auditorium, on-site in Sunrise, FL and Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will coordinate hockey events, concerts, family shows, and more, working with cross-functional teams to deliver superior guest experiences.

Responsibilities include overseeing all logistical planning, coordinating with promoters and vendors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of event management or venue operations experience.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships between arena, Panthers, clients, promoters and vendors.
• Develop and build events from production notes and communications.
• Disseminate event information to departments via meetings and walkthroughs.
• Prepare detailed outlines for event setup including access, security, and run times.
• Assemble cost estimates for billing and settlements in advance of events.
• Schedule rigging and labor for load-in, performance, and teardown as needed.
• Create and enforce standard operating policies and procedures.
