Job summary

ASM Global, the world leader in privately managed venue operations and live event production, seeks a Facility Operations Manager for the Victory Heights Arena and ASPC in Pittsburgh, PA on the University of Pittsburgh campus. The role ensures safe, efficient operation and readiness of the Petersen Events Center and ASPC during daily activities and major events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or college degree.
• Experience with scheduling software INFOR or WEB TMA is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Comfort operating forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts and ladders.
• Strong communication and independent work capability.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and emergencies as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of four Building Engineers with timesheet approvals and weekly scheduling.
• Enter and prioritize work orders in the TMA System (corrective, preventative maintenance).
• Source and receive repair parts and necessary building supplies.
• Support event staff on event days and review event riders to fulfill engineering needs.
• Oversee the Housekeeping Manager and ensure the building is clean and presentable.
• Serve as building liaison for vendors, contractors, service providers and tenants.
