Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an AVP of Sales to lead the Shockwave Medical Inc. organization in the North Central region, including Chicago, Minneapolis and surrounding markets.

The role requires building and developing an area-wide sales team to drive revenue growth and market expansion. You will collaborate with Marketing, R&D and other stakeholders to define go-to-market strategies, forecast performance, coach regional directors, and maximize adoption of IVL technology across the represented

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven track record of leading sales managers in the medical device market.
• 5+ years of demonstrated success leading and managing sales managers.
• Strong sales, recruiting, leadership, organization, planning and prioritization.
• Results-oriented with multiple years of meeting or exceeding quota.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel over 50%.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Operate as a team and/or be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and oversee a regional sales team to maximize revenue and exceed goals.
• Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams.
• Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies.
• Provide coaching and motivation to help teams meet objectives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D and other stakeholders on go-to-market strategies and sales execution.
• Lead area sales leadership team meetings and participate in reviews.
