Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking an Area Vice President for the Big Sky Super District (ID and MT) to lead sales growth, gross margin, market share, and employee development across Industrial, Commercial Construction, and Residential Construction sectors.

This senior leader will coordinate go-to-market strategies, leverage cross-geography best practices, and drive transformational change to deliver long-term value for the organization and its customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) or Business Administration with marketing emphasis; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in Sales/Marketing with leadership experience in field sales management.
• Proven track record in leading teams and driving transformational change across geographies.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of action oriented area strategies for profitable growth and key customers.
• Build organizational capability across area sales teams and collaborate with enterprise resources.
• Ensure sales tools are in the hands of the team and fully utilized.
• Analyze team performance and optimize sales structure, assignments, and activities.
• Develop and lead strategic sales plans for value-added services and solutions.
• Establish area best practices for new market penetration and differentiate Crescent.
• Plan annual sales expense budgets and manage expenses within budget.
• Collaborate across Crescent to drive growth across product, services, and national accounts.
• Support operational excellence initiatives and cascade company strategies across the organization.
• Drive sales through digital tools, promotions, and industry involvement.
