Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Co, a national electrical supplier, seeks an Area Vice President for the Big Sky Super District including Idaho and Montana. You will drive profitable growth across Industrial and Construction segments, lead sales strategy, and develop leaders across the geography.

The role requires 10+ years in Sales/Marketing with at least 5 years in field sales management, plus a strong track record of transforming sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) or Business Administration with marketing emphasis; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales/Marketing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales management, managing direct sales teams.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Proven ability to lead individuals and teams and drive transformational change with clear vision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of area strategies for profitable growth.
• Build organizational capability across the area sales teams.
• Ensure sales tools are used effectively by the team.
• Analyze team performance and recommend changes in sales force structure and activities.
• Develop and lead strategic sales plans delivering value-added services and solutions.
• Establish area best practices for new market penetration.
• Plan and manage annual sales expense budgets.
• Collaborate across Crescent sales organizations for mutual growth.
• Support operational excellence across Crescent to standardize functions.
• Grow sales through digital tools and promotions.
