Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company seeks an Area Vice President to lead the Big Sky Super District, spanning Idaho and Montana. You will shape sales growth, gross margin, market share, and employee development across industrial and construction segments.

You will align resources, deploy best practices from other geographies, and partner with senior management to execute a go-to-market strategy while driving transformational change and operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) or Business Administration with marketing emphasis; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales/Marketing.
• Minimum 5 years in field sales management, managing direct sales teams.
• Experience in various sales and marketing roles with increasing responsibilities.
• Experience managing Product line marketing and/or operational experience a plus.
• Valid Driver's License Required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of action oriented area strategies for profitable growth.
• Build organizational capability across area sales teams and partner with enterprise resources.
• Ensure sales tools are used effectively by the sales team.
• Analyze team effectiveness and recommend changes to structure and activities.
• Develop and lead strategic sales plans delivering growth of value-added services.
• Establish area best practices for new market penetration.
• Evaluate annual sales expense budgets.
• Collaborate across Crescent sales organizations to drive mutual growth.
• Support operational excellence plan to standardize key functions.
• Increase sales through digital tools and industry involvement.
• Plan and control expenses within budget.
• Lead performance management and development plans for all employees.
