ECU Health is hiring for a housekeeping position at The Outer Banks Hospital. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing areas, including furnishings, according to established policies to maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards.
It is a full-time, 40-hour per week role with a 2nd shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM and rotating weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with up to three months of experience encouraged to apply.
To clean and sanitize areas of responsibility including furnishings, following established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital. Job activities are routine with detailed rules or procedures. Responsibilities are diversified; requiring judgment in applying established practices and procedures. Job activities are also standardized and governed by procedures, instructions and standardized practices.
High School graduate or the equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. Requires three months or less of work experience.
