ECU Health North Hospital is seeking an Area Technician to perform daily cleaning and disinfection of rooms, public areas, and furnishings. The role includes waste and linen disposal, floor care, carpet care, and detail cleaning to maintain a pristine hospital environment.
The position is full-time with benefits, 40 hours per week, on the 2nd shift with rotating weekends and holidays. GED or HS diploma is preferred; prior hospital cleaning experience is a plus.
The Area Technician is responsible for the daily cleaning and disinfecting of rooms and public areas, furnishings and assigned work areas, removal and disposal of soiled waste and linen, performing floor care and carpet care and general detail cleaning to ensure that the facility is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The Area Technician must follow established policies and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation if maintained throughout the hospital.
GED or High School Diploma preferred- or higher.
Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week
2nd shift: The cleaning of rooms, beds, restrooms, etc... ensuring the hospital meet the requirements of a clean work environment.
Rotating weekends/holidays
