Job summary

Ross Stores in Asheville is seeking a dedicated Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and assist the Store Leader with opening and closing, supervising Associates, and maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You will ensure proper merchandise presentation, safety, loss prevention, and compliant front-end operations, while coaching staff, managing cash handling, and keeping stockrooms organized and signage accurate.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store, supervise Associates, and maintain the Store when Manager on Duty.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Manage Front End operations and assist in minimizing customer wait times.
