Job summary

Northern Lights Locating and Inspection is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee field locators, regulate ticket volume, and support safety programs across the region.

You will coordinate vacation schedules, review timecards, train new locators, and calibrate equipment while maintaining high customer quality and 24/7 responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field crews and coordinating locating operations.
• Travel 75%+ and manage field personnel.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of Northern Lights policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tickets in the Northern Lights portal and allocate resources as needed.
• Schedule and supervise locators in the field and handle personnel issues with management support.
• Review timecards and approve them weekly (Sunday evenings).
• Assist with training new locators and safety initiatives.
• Ensure calibration and documentation of locating equipment.
