ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintaining Safe & Secure Environments:
- Understand that safety is the top priority and practice safe behaviors consistently.
- Maintain high awareness on the sales floor to ensure a safe shopping environment, reporting unsafe conditions promptly.
- Secure the building, including managing entrance/exit control, EAS devices, Cash Office security, and other security measures.
- Ensure clear egress to emergency exits by removing clutter.
- Prioritize customer safety through accident prevention, reporting, and emergency procedures.
- Test fire alarm systems regularly and respond to alarms as needed.
Customer Service:
- Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect and professionalism.
Personal and Store Brand:
- Represent the company brand positively and maintain a professional appearance.
- Keep store areas clean, well-maintained, and merchandised to standard.
- Ensure the cleanliness of restrooms and manage daily trash removal.
General Merchandising:
- Complete recovery, sizing, and markdowns according to standards.
- Handle merchandise receiving, processing, and organization efficiently.
- Manage back-stock, reduce damage loss, and ensure compliance with presentation guidelines.
Loss Prevention:
- Follow Loss Prevention programs, safeguard confidential information, and maintain PVM system.
- Conduct package inspections and execute company best practices for productivity.
Front End Supervision and Operations:
- Maximize productivity, manage lines, and ensure equipment functionality.
- Train staff on cash registers and front-end procedures.
Fitting Rooms:
- Maintain cleanliness and proper tagging of garments.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage cash pulls, deposits, payroll, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
COMPETENCIES:
- Manage work processes, build talent, collaborate, and communicate effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills, prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills, and availability for evenings/weekends.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
- Ability to use store equipment and spend significant time standing, walking, and lifting.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retail associates and stockroom leads (if applicable).
