Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of Bechtel’s Zero Accident Philosophy.
• Experience on an LNG construction site especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
• Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience commensurate with the type of work to be undertaken.
• Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction is preferred.
• Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
• Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and supervise superintendents and craft professionals on a project.
• Direct craft activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work.
• Ensure craft teams have the tools required and comply with project policies, procedures, and budgets.
• Oversee safety, quality, and that the most current design documents are used and changes approved.
• Collaborate with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals on technical documents.
• Manage engineering solutions with Subcontractors, Foremen and Craft Professionals.
