Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Area Superintendent to oversee project supervision, scheduling, budget and manpower on major field activities. You will coordinate with trades, engineering and PM teams to ensure drawings and specifications are followed while maintaining safety and QA/QC standards.

Travel up to 25-50% is expected. This role requires eight years of supervisory experience in construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Oracle is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years’ supervisory experience in facilities construction and related methods.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and large-team supervision.
• Proficiency with computer applications and Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise General Foreman and Foreman on craft activities, including method, manpower, materials, equipment and schedules.
• Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or other contractors.
• Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating and PM to ensure compliance with drawings and schedule.
• Assist in resolving construction problems and monitor QA/QC programs.
• Communicate with unions and manage manpower and jurisdictional issues.
• Lead field training programs and ensure safety program compliance.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure project scope and schedule adherence.
