Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor in Moreno Valley to lead store operations, open/close the store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly shopping environment.

You will ensure proper merchandising, safety, and daily tasks are completed with a focus on loss prevention and customer service. The role requires the ability to work evenings and weekends, along with supervisory experience and familiarity with POS equipment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and English fluency required.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates when acting as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention and store operations according to company policies.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers, scheduling, and front-end procedures.
• Ensure back stock is secured, merchandised and signage is current.
