Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and general operations when acting as Manager on Duty.

You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, ensure safe, clean, and inviting shopping environments, and execute company processes. Responsibilities include front-end supervision, merchandising, loss prevention, and administrative duties assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store; supervise Associates.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean store.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes.
• Coach front-end cashiers and manage break coverage.
• Assist with stock, receiving, and back-room organization.
