Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Area Service Sales Leader to drive service growth across the Northeast region. You will partner with Area VP, Market General Managers, and service teams to translate strategy into market execution, focusing on recurring revenue, retention, and attachment opportunities.

Travel within the Northeast region will be required, and you will influence leaders through coaching rather than direct reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or equivalent.
10+ years in HVAC/building systems or B2B sales.
Proven success with service sales growth and recurring revenue.
Knowledge of HVAC service offerings and CRM-enabled sales management.
Ability to lead through influence without direct reporting authority.
Experience developing sales talent and succession planning.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned Area.

Responsibilities

Translate service growth strategy into market priorities and plans.
Deliver area operating plan for service revenue, margin, recurring revenue, retention, and service attachment.
Ensure growth priorities are executable at the market level through role clarity and defined sales motions.
Diagnose performance gaps and align corrective actions with leaders.
Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly service sales cadence across the Area.
Drive pipeline sufficiency by line of business and improve opportunity quality and CRM adoption.
Build relationships with strategically important customers and executive stakeholders to shape opportunities and accelerate growth.
Collaborate with service operations to increase service attachment at the point of sale.
