Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to coordinate and deliver security officer training within the assigned Area. You will conduct new employee orientation and mandatory licensing training, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

You will work with managers to identify training needs, develop schedules, and use multiple instructional methods. Strong organization, communication, and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education/experience as specified: Associate's Degree and 1 year of security training experience or equivalent.
• Must be capable of meeting licensing requirements as applicable to assignment.
• Ability to develop and deliver training using various instructional methods.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees and job candidates within assigned Area; conducts new employee orientation and training on health and safety practices.
• Ensures compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company training requirements; documents training for licensing and client contracts.
• Confers with managers to determine training needs and approaches.
• Develops training schedules and coordinates activities to avoid conflicts with client service schedules.
• Follows instructional procedures including lectures, demonstrations, simulations, and computer-based training.
• Maintains training materials, manuals, testing, and evaluation resources.
• Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate training performance and trainee progress.
• Performs other duties as needed within the training function.
