About the role

The role involves full responsibility for driving Power revenue growth in the North territory, providing technical support to colleagues, staying current with energy and power innovations, and maintaining strong relationships with rehire partners.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Building strong, quality, value-adding relationships with Power customers
  2. Providing technical power solutions for customer project specifications
  3. Growing sustainable power source solutions and developing new business in the North sales territory
  4. Collaborating with depot network and internal Service Centre colleagues
  5. Continuing personal development on product and application knowledge
  6. Contributing to and working with SLD data systems, especially CRM
  7. Managing commercials to ensure order profitability
  8. Increasing awareness of SLD Pumps & Power within the region
  9. Providing reports on customer enquiries, hires, and sales
  10. Assisting in the collection of payments for services provided
Candidate requirements:
  1. Experience in Power sales
  2. Technical knowledge of diesel generators and ancillary equipment
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  4. UK driving license
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  6. Customer-focused and result-driven attitude
