Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC in Washington State is seeking an Area Sales Manager II, Commercial to develop relationships with architects, engineers and specifiers and drive specifications and sales in the assigned territory.

You will travel up to 40% domestically, deliver technical presentations, and train design professionals on CITY MULTI VRF systems, while coordinating with sales channels and leveraging a strong HVAC background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years technical sales experience.
• High degree of knowledge of local HVAC commercial sales channel, engineers, and contractors.
• Expertise ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.
• Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent public speaking skills.
• Strong understanding of HVAC application and design is preferred.
• Must reside in the Business Unit Geography.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously.

Responsabilités

• Perform direct and joint sales calls to develop relationships with local architects, engineers, and contractors—educating them on applying CITY MULTI Variable Refrigerant Flow systems and other Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC products.
• Deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and commercial sales channels.
• Participate in local professional networking groups, industry associations, and industry trade shows.
• Enter and maintain customer information, activities, and quotations in SalesForce Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) or other systems as required.
• Manage project pipeline and track within the SalesForce CRM system.
• Occasional job site visits to support customers and service group members.
• Actively participate in sales planning and execution of sales plans for commercial sales channels.
• Assist Regional Manager in gathering market and competitive intelligence.
• Support distribution channels where Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC products are sold as assigned.
• Develop commercial sales channels’ competency to train the design professionals on properly applying Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC products.
• Willing to travel up to 40% to for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly internationally.
• Other Duties as assigned.
