Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking an Area Sales Manager I, Residential for Western, NY. You will grow market share by building relationships with distributors and Diamond Contractors, training staff, and supporting sales initiatives across ME US products.

The role requires 1–3 years of HVAC sales experience, a Bachelor's degree (related field preferred), and up to 50% travel. A base salary range plus commissions and comprehensive benefits support a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or related experience.
• 1–3 years sales experience preferably in the HVAC industry.
• 1–3 years calling on residential/mechanical contractors.
• Familiar with HVAC wholesale and dealer networks helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share by developing relationships with distributors, contractors and Diamond Contractors.
• Develop residential market strategy for the territory and maintain contractor data in Salesforce.
• Train and support distributor staff and contractors; participate in sales training and programs.
• Travel up to 50% within territory for meetings and events.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to capitalize on cross-line opportunities.
