Job Description:
Area Sales Manager – JD-Emerging Markets
  1. Position based in Hyderabad, responsible for Telangana and Andhra State, reporting to the Emerging Markets Regional Sales Manager – South.
  2. Execute sales and marketing strategies to drive overall and category sales growth in the assigned area.
  3. Develop a thorough understanding of hospitals and trade in Telangana and Andhra, including customer needs across various departments.
  4. Develop and manage an efficient distribution network to improve sales performance.
  5. Coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager to enhance sales performance.
  6. Maintain relationships with existing customers for repeat business and expand contacts with financial center personnel, professionals, and other contacts to improve product penetration and introduce new products in hospitals.
  7. Manage a team of Contract Sales Representatives in the assigned territory to drive business.
  8. Build strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers to defend existing business and promote early adoption of new products and practices.
  9. Leverage support from marketing, Scientific Affairs, and Education teams to generate new business and meet product penetration targets in key accounts.
  10. Provide timely feedback on sales performance, competitive activities, and internal developments to the supervisor.
  11. Ensure timely submission of business reports and market information through CRM and other formats.
  12. Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and opportunities for career growth.

Make a minimum number of customer calls, conduct ISPs/OR, generate customer demand according to daily/weekly/monthly plans, and record each activity on CRM.
