Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC seeks an Area Sales Manager II, Commercial for the Washington State area. This role develops relationships with architects, engineers and specifiers, educating them on METUS products and applications to grow specifications and sales.

You will travel up to 40% domestically and possibly internationally, deliver technical sales presentations, and support channel competency. A mechanical engineering degree and 5+ years’ sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience in HVAC or related field.
• Strong knowledge of local HVAC commercial sales channels.
• Ability to read/comprehend architect and engineer plans.
• Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and MS Office suite.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Must reside in the business unit geography and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with architects, engineers and specifiers.
• Educate on CITY MULTI VRF systems and Mitsubishi products.
• Deliver educational presentations to professionals and sales channels.
• Enter and maintain customer data and quotes in CRM (SalesForce).
• Manage project pipelines and assist in sales planning.
• Travel up to 40% for meetings and training, domestic and possibly international.
