Our Area Sales Managers are dedicated individuals who help our dealer partners sell more cars and trucks by financing more customers.

Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager represents Western Funding to our dealer customers, focusing on increasing funded deals by partnering with suitable dealers. This role involves identifying, onboarding, and managing dealer relationships within your region, using a consultative sales approach to foster growth and understanding of our programs.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to dealership management in person.
• Identify and contact sales prospects and existing accounts.
• Follow-up on leads and referrals from telephone and in-person interactions.
• Develop and maintain dealer relationships to grow our network.
• Maintain effective communication with dealer partners regarding current programs.
• Train dealers on Western Funding processes, including documentation for fast contract funding.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree or experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive, finance, and sales sectors.
• Experience in financial services or car dealership sales (1-2 years preferred).
• Effective presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques including warm calling and appointment setting.
• Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to visit dealers.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $54,000 - $125,000/year + commissions; average first-year earnings ~$79,000.
• Unlimited earning potential with no cap on commissions.
• Monthly mileage reimbursement (~$450).
