Job summary

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking an Area Director of Sales to join our team in the Dallas area. You will develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue, occupancy, and market share while building strong relationships with clients and partners.

The role involves coordinating with hotel leadership, marketing, and operations to meet client needs and improve guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, occupancy, and market-share objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients and local business partners.
• Prospect for new business and follow up on leads, inquiries, and opportunities.
• Conduct sales calls, tours, presentations, and client meetings as appropriate.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, correspondence, and sales reports.
• Coordinate with operations, revenue management, catering, and other departments to meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate account, activity, and opportunity information.
• Support sales strategies to achieve revenue and market-share objectives.
• Represent the hotel professionally at community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
• Respond to client requests and resolve concerns in partnership with hotel leadership.
• Monitor market conditions and competitive activity; share insights with leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
