Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in the Dallas area has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director, responsible for supporting DSD sales and Independent Distributors.

You will manage customer relationships, drive sales activities, grow the base, and identify opportunities using digital tools to show wins. The role partners with the Market Vice President and Sales Enablement to analyze market and territory opportunities, maximizing sales and applying consumer insights to refine strategies.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Engage in sales activities, grow the customer base, and seek new selling opportunities.
• Track sales data and analyze market opportunities to maximize sales.
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts for promotion and display execution.
