WM is seeking a seasoned Safety leader to develop and execute the area’s strategic safety goals in alignment with Safety Services guidance. This role collaborates with corporate and market leadership to shape safety strategy and drive continuous improvement across sites and drivers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Safety or Operations Management, with at least 3 years leading a team, and deep knowledge of regulatory requirements (DOT/OSHA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or in lieu of degree) and four years of relevant work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with four years of relevant work experience.
• 10+ years in Safety or Operations Management.
• 3 years managing a team of two or more individuals.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute safety strategy aligned with corporate and market-area goals.
• Oversee Drive Cam System Management with site leaders and drivers as needed.
• Identify and reduce high-risk tasks; apply SIF logic and conduct protection validation studies.
