This role drives compliance with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations and oversees safety programs in the waste management and transportation sectors. With 7+ years of safety leadership experience required, candidates must be prepared to handle audits, training, and safety documentation, along with a commitment to ongoing regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• 7+ years of safety experience, including leadership.
• Background in waste management, transportation, or industrial operations.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and multi-site safety program experience.
• Ability to travel regionally (approx. 50%).

Responsibilities

• Strengthen compliance across OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state regulations.
• Conduct facility and field safety audits, investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement and safety training for drivers and site personnel.
• Manage driver qualification files, reporting, and safety documentation.
• Partner with operations leadership to shape KPIs and elevate safety performance.
• Support emergency preparedness and environmental compliance initiatives.
