Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks an Area Reliability Manager to oversee reliability for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in a defined service area. The ARM reports to the Area Manager and coordinates with Operations and Engineering to deliver high-quality service.

This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, safety, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (required).
• Valid driver's license and meet driving requirements.
• 3 years experience in electrical/mechanical design, engineering standards, project management, system improvement and maintenance.
• Proficiency with technical drawings (e.g., facility maps).
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS, Visio, STORMS, MicroStation, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, team-building, interpersonal, leadership and negotiating skills.
• Ability to proactively act with a sense of urgency.
• Experience serving large utility customers.
• Knowledge of core utility products and delivery to customers.
• Ability to implement solutions and manage large/sensitive projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of We Energies' core commodities to all customers, coordinating with other parts of the organization.
• Deliver a high coordinated customer approach with a focus on elevating service and energy quality.
• Manage outages data and provide updates for weekly calls.
• Expedite oversight and resolutions to outages interruptions.
• Lead and manage assigned Area Reliability projects, monitor expenditures, coordinate with Operations and Engineering.
• Assist in obtaining outage information and remediation for customer complaints.
• Address Low Voltage complaints.
• Plan for public events and develop standard processes for event management.
• Establish patrols and review data/results to ensure work is completed before events.
• Review with Power Quality Group to determine remedies for TS requests.
• Promote safety and on-call 24x7 coverage as needed.
