Job description

Be the primary point of contact to ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, including inland delivery, by working closely with the customer as well as internal stakeholders. Be fully responsible for customer satisfaction across MPL product offerings (own customers). Manage people and processes to execute designed project solutions.

This position is open for North China cities

Responsibilities:

• Develop opportunities for MPL.
• Responsible for operational excellence across MPL product family and transport modes to meet customer deliverables.
• Partner with commercial, growth enablement, QHSE, and procurement to support strategic development of the customer.
• Establish and track goals, metrics, and success indicators for the MPL project.
• Demonstrate adaptability to market fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, and customer timelines to meet contractual terms.
• Establish and foster data-driven relationships with clients focusing on joint strategic vision and initiatives aligned with global MPL growth strategies.
• Ensure the internal implementation of the customer solution, including reporting structure, QHSE requirements, and continuous improvement processes.
• Use independent judgment to set priorities and work independently.
• Drive operational excellence across teams.
• Identify and hold operational leadership accountable for customer program deliverables.
• Identify value-added solutions for the customer and Maersk.
• Represent the account during business implementation and execution, including onboarding of new Maersk products, collaborating with internal project owners.
• Identify and reduce program operating costs.
• Support and attend on-site operations.

Critical competencies:

• Extensive executional experience across all transport modes: ocean, air, rail, truck, barge, including OOG cargo.
• Project management experience.
• Customer-facing engagement and presentation skills.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional decision-making across regions, products, and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (written and verbal).
