Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking an Area Team Lead for our seed corn production location in Fremont, IA. You will oversee conditioning, packaging, warehousing, and overall production flow, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Strong communication, teamwork, and familiarity with SAP or similar systems are preferred. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, plus 2 years of manufacturing- or operations-related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical diploma preferred.
• Two years of on-the-job experience in manufacturing, operations, production, agriculture, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate up and down the line to ensure accurate and complete communications.
• Support oversight of conditioning, bagging, bulk load out, and warehousing to maximize material flow.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to standard work and safety, attendance, and process discipline.
• Monitor product quality for compliance with Quality Plan requirements.
• Understand and support order activity and workforce planning for next shifts.
• Assist in managing inventories and product movement.
• Provide input for capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure records and reports are completed as assigned.
• Work as a production technician when needed and cover shift supervision in absence.
