Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking an Area Coordinator to lead an assigned group of production associates, ensuring safe, efficient daily operations and achievement of safety, quality, and performance targets. The role emphasizes scheduling, coaching, and driving Continuous Improvement using WCM/lean tools.

The candidate will coordinate manpower, maintain records, and collaborate with quality teams to meet KPIs and improve FPY, CAL, and overall process reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years of team leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of WCM, safety, and quality processes.
• Zero active written disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support an assigned group of associates to ensure safe, efficient daily operations.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production activities to meet KPIs, targets, and deadlines.
• Maintain production records and assist with reporting on metrics, performance and efficiency.
• Ensure a safe working environment with a goal of zero injuries; enforce safety, quality and company standards.
• Lead or participate in WCM and lean activities and drive continuous improvement.
