Job summary

Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort & Isla Bella Beach Resort is seeking an organized, personable Area People & Culture Manager to support HR operations across both properties. You will handle employee relations, onboarding, training, compliance, engagement, and daily HR tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role also coordinates H-2B and J-1 programs, including communication with agencies, documentation, onboarding, and arrivals/departures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related administrative role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily HR functions across both resort properties.
• Serve as a resource for employees and department leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
• Assist with employee relations matters, including attendance, performance concerns, conflicts, and corrective action.
• Support employee investigations, documentation, and resolution of workplace concerns.
• Assist with employee separations, leave of absence requests, workers' compensation matters, and other HR processes as needed.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee files and records.
• Support compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Respond to employee questions professionally, with appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain positive relationships with employees and department leaders across both properties.
