High Performance Academy, based in Oakland, CA, is seeking an Area Manager to lead Program Operations across our camps, leagues, and youth programs. You will manage teams, own operational systems, and drive data‑driven improvements to deliver high‑quality experiences.

The role is hybrid with local travel, requires 5+ years in program operations, and a passion for youth development. Compensation ranges from $86,000 to $90,000 per year, plus benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience in program operations.
• 5+ years in program operations or leadership.
• Strong organizational and people leadership skills.
• Experience building and documenting operating systems and processes.
• Knowledge of KPI frameworks, budgeting, and discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Asana, Ninety, and HRIS/scheduling tools.
• Experience in youth development, education, or community programs.
• Willingness to travel locally and some Saturday availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Program Operations teams through coaching and performance management.
• Oversee program lifecycles from onboarding to evaluation and feedback.
• Develop and document scalable operational systems.
• Monitor KPI performance and drive improvements in staffing efficiency.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, procurement, and vendor relations.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, Growth, Finance, and regional teams.
