Job summary

The Dermatology Specialists are seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee 10 to 15 dermatology centers within a defined geographic area. This role carries full P&L responsibility and acts as the bridge between center operations and regional leadership.

You will drive growth, optimize patient experience, and build a culture of accountability. Travel to centers weekly and collaborate with regional leaders to execute strategic plans while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multi-site healthcare operations.
• Proven track record of leading and managing multiple practices.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, revenue cycle, and P&L management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of compliance standards and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of 10 to 15 centers within the assigned area.
• Own the P&L for the centers, including volume, staffing, operating expense, and budget targets.
• Monitor KPIs and financial performance; address areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance to center managers to optimize workflow and patient satisfaction.
• Partner with Regional Medical Director to align clinical and operational priorities.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain top leadership talent for centers.
