Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff across our fulfillment network, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery to customers. You will engage and mentor your team during shifts while coordinating with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet objectives.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in people or performance management and a flexible schedule, including weekends or nights. The role requires lifting up to 49 pounds and working in variable environments at delivery

Qualifications

2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet business objectives.
Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
Work in environments with variable temperatures and loud noise, including outside loading areas.
