Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Survey Department Manager to lead operations across multiple locations in the US. You will coordinate personnel, equipment, contracts, and budgets while aligning with regional leadership to drive project delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in surveying and management, strong leadership, and a proven track record in financial performance, contract negotiations, and client relationship management. This role is based in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive surveying and management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to manage operations and staffing for a multi-location Area.
• Successful experience in evaluating and managing the financial performance of professional services operations.
• Successful experience in contract negotiations, budgets, and fee estimates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations for multiple locations within the US area and coordinate with senior management.
• Plan staffing, budgets, and contracts to develop offices capable of handling large projects.
• Implement procedures to maximize operating efficiency and QA/QC compliance.
• Review performance data to monitor productivity and goal progress.
• Develop and mentor professional staff and maintain client relationships.
• Represent the company at all levels of operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
