Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates at our Lawrence Township, NJ site. You will engage the team during shifts to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring on-time customer deliveries.

You will coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to meet business objectives. Expect a fast-paced environment with shift work, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Active USA state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Operate in varying noise levels and temperatures at delivery stations.
