Job summary

Marvin is hiring an Area Operations Manager to lead field operations across Boston and the Lower Hudson Valley. You will coach project managers, installers, and warehouse staff, resolve customer issues, and ensure a white-glove installation experience.

You will shape processes, manage inventory, and collaborate with internal teams on accounts receivable and vendor management while traveling up to 25% of the time and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience (home improvement preferred)
• 5+ years working with construction methods and documents
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Ability to lift 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and use ladders/scaffolding

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop project managers, installers, and warehouse staff
• Resolve customer concerns with urgency, professionalism, and empathy
• Conduct regular job site visits and engage directly with homeowners
• Execute operational plans to meet or exceed revenue goals
• Create and improve processes, policies, and procedures
• Oversee inventory management across assigned markets
• Ensure compliance with safety and installation standards
• Partner with internal teams on accounts receivable and vendor management
