Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Area Operations Manager to lead field operations across Boston, MA and Lower Hudson Valley, NY. This senior role drives a white-glove installation experience by developing processes, guiding project managers, installers, and warehouse staff, and resolving complex customer issues.

You will shape customer satisfaction through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on leadership, with responsibilities spanning safety, inventory management, and vendor

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience (home improvement preferred).
• 5+ years working with construction methods and documents.
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Valid drivers license with a clean record.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop project managers, installers, and warehouse staff.
• Resolve customer concerns with urgency, professionalism, and empathy.
• Conduct regular job site visits and engage directly with homeowners.
• Execute operational plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Create and improve processes, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee inventory management across assigned markets.
• Ensure compliance with safety and installation standards.
• Partner with internal teams on accounts receivable and vendor management.
