Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Area Operations Manager for on-site work in Oklahoma City with 25–50% travel. You will lead Parts and Service across multiple sites, drive financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team engagement, and shape an operating model aligned to our growth strategy.

You will coach Managers across locations, implement cross-functional initiatives, and ensure safe, compliant operations while delivering profitable growth and strong employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Progressive leadership experience in multi-site operations, service, parts, aftermarket or similar B2B environments.
• Experience leading leaders and developing teams across multiple locations.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts and margins.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Parts and Service business across multiple sites within the assigned Area, with full accountability for financial performance, operational execution, customer experience, and team engagement.
• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development to Service Managers, Parts Managers, and other Area leaders, building a strong, accountable culture.
• Drive profitable growth by improving service execution, expanding parts performance, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring consistent operating standards.
• Own Area-level business planning and performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, margin improvement, expense control, productivity, and growth objectives.
• Partner across functions to implement strategic initiatives and align site-level execution with broader priorities.
• Champion a safe, compliant environment that supports employee development and retention.
