Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. You will engage and mentor staff across shifts and partner with Safety, Engineering, HR, and Loss Prevention to meet business goals.

Responsibilities include managing a dynamic environment, lifting up to 49 pounds, standing up to 12 hours, and adapting to variable conditions in delivery stations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
