Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Surprise, AZ is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and on-time delivery across shifts.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, HR, and Quality teams to develop plans to meet business objectives and improve performance, while handling a dynamic, physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to develop plans to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures, noise levels, and outside loading areas.
• Assist with stairs where applicable.
