Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Meridian, Idaho is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly workers, driving safety, quality, attendance and performance while delivering customers' orders on time.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to meet business objectives, stand up to 12 hours shifts, and lift up to 49 pounds in a fast-paced, variable-temperature environment at delivery stations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Do you currently hold a valid and active USA state drivers license?

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment with varying noise and temperatures at delivery stations.
