Job summary

Stord is seeking an Area Manager to lead a warehouse team in North Haven, CT. You will drive daily goals, manage operations, and collaborate with multiple support functions to ensure accurate inventory and on-time order fulfillment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution center environment with occasional overtime. Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) / inventory systems in high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; drive tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to meet daily goals.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Customer Service to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the area.
