Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Oregon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates across our WW Operations network. You will engage and coach staff to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring on-time delivery to customers.

The role covers First, Middle, and Last mile workflows, collaboration with Safety, Engineering, and HR, and lifting up to 49 pounds in a dynamic, sometimes loud environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours
• Work in variable temperatures and environments including outdoor loading areas
• Lead a team to meet customer expectations and on-time delivery.
