Job summary

Young Life seeks an Associate Area Director in Virginia to oversee spiritual development, leadership development, and resource development for the local area. You will recruit and train volunteers, implement the area vision with the Area Director, and coordinate ministry across clubs and camps.

The role requires a college degree, strong relational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication. You will also manage part of the local budget and donor relations, while guiding summer staff

Qualifications

• Must have completed Core Training — Phase One.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Implement area actions to carry out Young Life’s mission and ministry.
• Recruit, train and deploy volunteers to have effective ministry.
• Develop fundraising strategy and donor relations for the local area.
• Lead contact work, clubs, Campaigners and camps with excellence.
• Maintain accurate area records and manage finances with transparency.
