Job summary

Young Life Incorporated in the United States seeks a dedicated ministry leader to oversee spiritual development, leadership development, resource development, and direct ministry across clubs and volunteers. You will recruit, train and supervise staff and volunteers, cast area vision, build partnerships, and ensure programs reflect Gospel-centered outreach and youth engagement.

This role also involves coordinating training and events, including camps, and managing related communications.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year of ministry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• A call to reach kids with the Gospel.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must complete Core Training - Phase One within 36 months of hire date.
• Education: College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise 1 to 3 clubs and 0 to 25 volunteers.
• Lead or co-lead a model Young Life club and support a Campaigner program.
• Develop and implement yearly ministry strategy and area plans.
• Recruit, train and develop volunteers and staff to reflect the community.
• Coordinate fundraising and engage partners to support the area vision.
