Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in operations, maintenance, and/or engineering in a paper manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering required.
• IP ME certification of green or black belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership in safety.
• Identify and deliver sustainable cost savings.
• Train employees in Manufacturing Excellence skills.
• Develop college hires into ME Engineers.
• Achieve ME certifications.
• Maintain relationships with ME leaders.
• Support operations during outages.
• Identify and implement best practices.
